Guidelines for parents  

Parents Teachers co-operation is essential for complete and harmonious development of the student's personality. The process of informal education is set in motion at birth and gains momentum in the school. To bring out the best in child, family influences should aid and supplement school efforts. Both school and home should help the child inculcate in him the desirable behaviour patterns, healthy habits and positive attitude in personal and social life to make him a pride of the family as well as the society.
Constant vigilance on the part of guardians pay rich dividends. Please see to the following points in the interest of your ward.

1.    Please see that your ward has all the text book, items of stationary : craft material, dictionary etc. Please spare yourself for one hour daily and discuss with your ward and motivate him/ her.

2.    Please ensure that he/she comes to the school in proper uniform, the specification and design of which have been laid down by the school
3.    Please see that the child has the time-table at home and nit follows it.
4.    Please convey your impression about the work of your ward at home on the first and fifteenth of every month by using one of the following remarks : (A) Very Satisfactory (B) Satisfactory and (C) Unsatisfactory in the dairy.
5.    No parents are allowed to see the teachers during working hours. They can see the teachers on any working day atter the school, within half an hour.
6.    Parents should not give money or costly items to the children.
7.    Parents should provide lunch to their ward to school.
8.    Parents are requested to drop your ward 10 minutes before the beginning of the school.
9.    You should encourage your ward to watch educational programmes on the Television, and should read English News paper Periodicals like Science master, G.D. Quiz, Junior Science Refresher, Science Quiz etc. It wil help him/her to update the knowledge and will prepare for various competitions.
10.    Parents should not sent their ward to the school if he/she is suffering from any infection/disease.
11.    Parents are requested to take their children to various educational 
and recreational places during the summer; autumn and Winter break e.g. Science Museum, History Museum, Zoo, Electra World, Appu Ghar etc.
12.    Parents should contact office 1st, if they want to see the principal/  Teacher Entry of the parents in the glass rams Is strictly probhibited.
13.    Parents must not enter the school building to carry their wards.
14.    Parents may contact the Principal without appointment during visiting hours, i.e. (9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.) on all working days
15.    Name of your child will automatically be struck off of the rolls, if  fees is not paid in time. In case readmission is considered, the deaf aulters will pay all dues, fine and admission fee.
16.    Answer sheets of final exams may be shown to the parents on  written request with a fee of Rs. 100 per subjects and Rs. 300 for all subjects.
17. Report card of your ward is sent for your observation, after each Summative Exam or Terminal Exam through your ward. In case the report cards is not presented/shown timely, you must contact the school office.
18. In case a child is found using unfair means in any of the exami¬-natign/class test, he/she will be awarded "Zero" in the particular subject.
19. A student shall be allowed for final exam, if he/she has paid all dues, and has obtained a minimum of 80% of attendance upto Jan. end for Class XII, upto Feb. 15 for VIII & IX and Feb. end for all other classes.
